Lesley Vella

Lesley Vella currently serves as the Senior Director and Head of Talent Acquisition and Strategy at Akumin®, overseeing talent acquisition initiatives to facilitate the company's growth in providing radiology and oncology services across the U.S. Prior to joining Akumin, Lesley held the position of Senior Executive Recruiter at Amazon, leading executive searches for the People eXperience & Technology team. Lesley's extensive experience in recruitment includes roles at Philips, where strategic hires were made for senior leadership positions, and earlier positions at pMDsoft, Novasyte Inc., Tom Ruff Company, and Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Lesley holds a BA in Communication and a BA in Spanish Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Certificate in Spanish Literature from Universidad de Sevilla, and further education from Harvard Extension School.
