Claire Donnelly has a strong background in the legal field, particularly in asset management and investment funds. Claire started their career at Matheson in 2012 as a Summer Intern in Intellectual Property. In 2013, they had vacation schemes at both Travers Smith in banking and competition, and at Dechert LLP in white collar crime. Claire then joined Dechert LLP as a Trainee Solicitor from 2015 to 2017, where they gained experience in financial services and investment management as an Associate. In 2018, Claire moved to A&L Goodbody LLP, where they have worked as a Solicitor and later as an Associate in asset management and investment funds. In 2023, they were promoted to the role of Senior Associate in the same practice area.
Claire Donnelly began their education at Loreto College, St Stephen's Green, where they completed their Leaving Certificate in 2009. Claire then went on to Trinity College Dublin, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from 2009 to 2013, specializing in the field of Law. Following this, Claire attended the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a focus on commercial law. Claire concluded their formal education at The University of Law from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
