Mohannad al Koptan

Mohannad Al Koptan has extensive work experience in the field of information technology infrastructure. Mohannad is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology Infrastructure at Al Rajhi Takaful since July 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Manager - IT Infra & Cloud Governance from April 2022 to July 2023 at the same company. From July 2021 to May 2022, they worked as the IT Infrastructure & Cloud Governance Manager at Al Rajhi Takaful.

Before joining Al Rajhi Takaful, Mohannad worked at RSA, where they held the position of Infre Manager - RSA Insurance KSA from January 2018 to July 2021.

Prior to RSA, they worked at Wafainsurance as an IT Infrastructure Team Lead from January 2014 to January 2018. Their responsibilities included managing and supporting the IT infrastructure of the organization, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and telephony systems.

Mohannad also gained experience as a System Administrator at Al Rajhi Takaful from June 2012 to December 2013. In this role, they were responsible for server installation, configuration, and administration.

Before their tenure at Al Rajhi Takaful, Mohannad worked as a System Administrator at Bawabat Al-Sham for Investment & Urban Development from January 2010 to April 2012. Their role involved Active Directory management, Exchange server administration, OS updates, performance monitoring, and SharePoint administration.

At the beginning of their career, Mohannad worked at Arabsea Information Systems. Mohannad held various roles, including Technical Support Team Leader from January 2007 to January 2010, Technical Support Supervisor from January 2006 to January 2007, and Technician from January 2005 to January 2006. During their time at Arabsea Information Systems, they gained experience in project supervision, network implementation and configuration, and system monitoring for various clients. Notable projects included working with King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital-Riyadh, Alhadi Group Network, and COSTCO MART chain-Damascus.

Mohannad Al Koptan holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Saudi Electrical University. Mohannad also has additional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, ITIL Continual Service Improvement, ITIL Service Operation, ITIL foundation, ITIL Service Design, MCITP, CCNA, and CCNP - Rout.
