Fred Cochran holds a BSCJA and possesses certifications as IAAI-FIT and NAFI-CFEI. With extensive experience in public safety, Fred Cochran has served as a Special Agent and Deputy State Fire Marshal with the Alabama Department of Insurance since April 2016. Additionally, Fred Cochran has worked as an Adjunct Instructor for the Alabama Fire College and Personnel Standards & Education Commission since February 2022. Previous roles include Investigator with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office, ALERRT Active Shooter Instructor for Alabama DHS, and various positions with the Town of Cleveland Police Department and Etowah County Sheriff's Office. Fred Cochran earned a degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University between 2017 and 2018.
