Jennifer Gonzales

Jennifer Gonzales is an experienced professional in emergency services and education, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Alabama Fire College since September 2017, specializing in technical rescue, officer, and instructor courses, and contributing as a certification and test question writer. Jennifer has held the position of Lieutenant with Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service since May 2012, where responsibilities include serving as a Training Officer and Lead Instructor at the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Fire Academy. Prior to these roles, Jennifer worked at UPS as a Dispatch Supervisor and Health and Safety Supervisor from August 2002 to May 2011. Academically, Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Columbia Southern University (2016-2018) and a BA in Foreign Language (Spanish) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2007-2010), along with additional studies in Spanish at Universidad de Jaén and an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Jefferson State University.
