Hunter Hamm is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division of the Alabama Office of the Attorney General since November 2019. Prior to this role, Hunter gained valuable experience as a Legal Extern for the Honorable Madeline H. Haikala at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and as a Legal Extern for the Honorable Chief Magistrate Judge John E. Ott at the same court. Additional legal experience includes positions as a Legal Clerk at the Alabama Office of the Attorney General and Beasley Allen Law Firm, as well as a Legal Clerk at Wilmer & Lee, P.A. Hunter also contributed to the American Journal of Trial Advocacy as a Research & Writing Editor. Hunter holds a degree in History and a minor in German from Auburn University and attended Samford University from 2016 to 2019.
