Jamaal Cooper

Jamaal Cooper is an experienced Mathematics Teacher currently working at Walker County School District since June 2023 and at the Alabama Department of Education since July 2019. Previously, Jamaal served as a Mathematics Teacher at Fairfield City Schools from July 2022 to June 2023. Prior to their teaching career, Jamaal held positions as a Conductor at Norfolk Southern Corporation and as a Production Team Member at Mercedes-Benz USA. Jamaal began their professional journey at Jackson State University, where Jamaal earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics between 2014 and 2017, also gaining experience as an IT Helpdesk technician and completing internships as a Quality Inspector and Team Member.
