Beth Branch has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Beth currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Alabama Port Authority, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, Beth worked at Port of Oakland from November 2014 to January 2019, where they held the role of Business Development & International Marketing.
Before their time at Port of Oakland, Beth held various positions at A.P. Moller - Maersk. From June 2012 to September 2013, they served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Maersk Line, Limited, a subsidiary focused on U.S. Government contracts. From January 2008 to June 2012, they were the General Manager of Global Business Process for Maersk Line, the largest container shipping company in the world. Beth also held various transportation and logistics positions at Maersk Line from August 1995 to January 2008.
Furthermore, Beth worked as a Manager of Pacific Westbound Trade at Sea-Land Service, Inc. from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they had a role as a Program Manager at an NGO from 1990 to 1993.
Beth Branch earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from Duke University, where they studied from 1981 to 1986. Beth then pursued further education at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing from 1998 to 2000.
