Tuan-Anh Tran

Tuan-Anh Tran, PhD, is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture investor with a focus on renewable energy and deeptech innovations. As the Co-founder and CEO of Solano Energy since November 2022, Tuan-Anh is dedicated to providing affordable renewable electricity. Tuan-Anh also serves as a Venture Partner and Deeptech Investor at Alabaster, supporting early-stage companies across various disruptive industries, including food, semiconductors, and energy. In addition, Tuan-Anh is involved with multiple companies as a venture investor, including Redefine Meat, Neptune Robotics, ADVANO, Manna Drone Delivery, and Netspark Ltd. Tuan-Anh additionally mentors at EnergyLab's Scaleup Program, aiding late-stage clean-energy startups. Tuan-Anh holds a DPhil in Information Theory and Electrical Engineering from the University of Oxford, where undergraduate studies in EEM were also completed, alongside early education at Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
