Sanjay Avasthi

Sanjay Avasthi is the Senior Managing Partner & Chief Operating Officer at Alacer Group.

Sanjay has over 25 years of experience in leading business transformations and has been a key player in deploying lean Sigma processes across various industries.

Prior to joining Alacer Group, Sanjay was the Deployment Leader for Lean Sigma at Discover from April 2008 to February 2009. Sanjay was responsible for leading the transformation of the business to impact net income.

From October 2005 to January 2008, Sanjay was the Quality Leader at GE Money. As a senior consultant for business transformation, they led major accounts for DFSS, Lean, and DMAIC software solutions.

From November 2008 to August 2010, Sanjay was self-employed as the VP of Customer Solutions and Delivery. In this role, they provided senior consulting for business transformation, DFSS, Lean, and DMAIC software solutions to major accounts.

Before their self-employment, Sanjay was the VP at New Roads from March 2005 to October 2005. Sanjay then took on the role of SVP at Bank of America from August 2002 to May 2005. Prior to that, they were an MBB at Ford from June 1992 to August 2002.

Sanjay Avasthi received their MS in management from the University of Toledo and their B.Tech in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

They are on a team with and Joseph C. Veckerelli - Managing Director. Their manager is Richard Paxton, Senior Managing Partner & Chief Executive Officer.
