Brian Baker

Brian Baker currently serves as the Assistant County Manager for Alamance County Government, a position held since October 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Alamance Parks from August 2014 to October 2022 and Trail and Open Space Coordinator for Alamance County between July 2009 and July 2014. Brian's career began as Upper Haw River Trail Coordinator at Elon University from May 2006 to July 2009, followed by roles as an attorney at Comerford & Britt and Long, Parker, Warren & Jones, P.A. from July 2004 to February 2006 and August 2001 to March 2004 respectively. Legal experience includes serving as a law clerk at the North Carolina Court of Appeals from August 2000 to August 2001. Brian Baker earned a JD in Law from Wake Forest University School of Law and a BA in History from Wake Forest University, with education completed between 1993 and 2000. Early education was completed at McDowell High School from 1990 to 1993.
