Joesph Omwamba

Joesph Omwamba has extensive experience in education, serving as a Summer Teacher at the Alameda County Office of Education since July 2014, where responsibilities include crafting syllabi and teaching students at Juvenile Hall campuses. Additionally, Joesph has been an English Instructor in the Alameda County School System since September 2000, teaching English and Swahili to high school students. From August 2008 to August 2013, Joesph worked as a Lecturer at UC Berkeley, teaching various levels of the Swahili Language and facilitating the Swahili Table language gabfest. Early in the career, Joesph was employed as a Copy Editor at ANG Newspapers from June 2000 to March 2003, focusing on editing copy and manuscript evaluations.
