Xiaohui Zhou

Xiaohui Zhou currently works as a Senior Exploration Geologist at Alamos Gold Inc. Since joining the company in July 2021, Xiaohui has shifted focus from researching the Archean Superior Province to working on the Paleoproterozoic Lynn Lake greenstone belt. Prior to this role, Xiaohui served as a Research Associate at Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne from April 2017 to August 2020, where they led the Metal Earth Malartic transect project in Quebec. Xiaohui's responsibilities included revealing the crustal architecture and structural evolution of the Abitibi and Pontiac subprovinces through targeted geological mapping and interpretation of geological and geophysical datasets, with a specific focus on the origin of orogenic gold deposits.
