Niklas Wellfelt

Niklas Wellfelt is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in equity strategy, asset management, and economic analysis. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of Equities & Allocation at Ålandsbanken Abp since October 2015, Wellfelt leads fund management and marketing efforts, while previously heading the Equities Private Banking division. Prior roles include Head of Research at Remium, equity strategist at JRS Securities, Erik Penser Bankaktiebolag, and Kaupthing Bank, among others. Wellfelt's career began as an economist at Sweden’s Central Bank and the National Institute of Economic Research, following a Master's Degree in Applied Economics from the University of Gothenburg.
