Mohammad Zohair Motiwala, CFA, ACA has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Mohammad Zohair currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at Alantra, where they focus on mergers and acquisitions in the banking and financial institutions sector. Their responsibilities include advising clients on sell-side and buy-side mandates, loan portfolio sales/acquisitions, strategic business reviews, and valuations.

Prior to their current role, Mohammad worked as an Associate Director at EY from 2019 to 2021. Mohammad Zohair then joined MainFirst Group as an Equity Research Analyst, specializing in European banks.

Before that, they had a long tenure at EY starting from 2014, where they served as a Manager in the Financial Institutions Group. In this role, they specialized in valuations for M&A, restructuring, tax, and financial reporting purposes. Mohammad Zohair worked on various projects involving financial institutions such as banks, asset managers, private equity funds, insurance, and specialty finance.

Mohammad Zohair Motiwala, CFA, ACA, pursued their education with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Accounting and Finance from Lahore University of Management Sciences, from 2004 to 2008. Mohammad Zohair then went on to complete their ACA qualification in Accounting from ICAEW, between 2008 and 2011. Later, they obtained their CFA certification in Finance from the CFA Institute, from 2008 to 2013. Additionally, they have also completed A' Levels from Karachi Grammar School between 2002 and 2004.
