Alarm.com is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist to support our growing team for our EnergyHub business in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fun environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create monthly and quarterly invoices for all EnergyHub customers in accounting system
  • Reconcile invoice batches to the worksheet to include general ledger distribution during invoice creation
  • Distribute invoices to EnergyHub team and manage the invoice approvals for authorization to send to customers
  • Responsible for sending invoices to customers by mail, email to include entering invoices into customer portals
  • Manage relationship with customer and EnergyHub CSM
  • Work with EnergyHub CSM to resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Collection for all EnergyHub customer invoices and recording collection efforts in Dropbox document
  • Prepare monthly aging report with collection efforts to report to management and EnergyHub team for monthly meeting
  • Assist in functions performed by the Billing & Collection team as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

KEY SKILLS

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong service orientation and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and outside business partners

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of two-year degree required, with four-year college degree preferred, with specialization in accounting or finance preferred
  • 3+ years billing and customer service experience required
