Benjamin Hurtado

Benjamin Hurtado has a strong background in software engineering with experience in leading teams and developing various web systems. Benjamin worked at Alarm.com starting in 2015, where they held multiple roles including Software Engineering Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. At Alarm.com, they utilized technologies such as .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Sass, and Git. Prior to Alarm.com, Benjamin worked at TekMexico as a Computer Systems Analyst from 2013 to 2014. In this role, they designed and implemented internal web systems while receiving intensive training on web technologies for Front-End, Back-End, and Databases. Benjamin Hurtado earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2013. Benjamin later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing the program in 2020. In addition to their formal education, Benjamin obtained a certification as a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer from National Instruments in April 2013.
