King Chau

King Chau has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. King is currently working as a Team Lead - Software Engineering at Alarm.com since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Noblis (formerly Mitretek Systems) for 14 years as a Technical Lead and Data Analyst. King also served as an Adjunct Professor - IT at DeVry University from July 2011 to January 2016. Additionally, King Chau worked at Best Buy as a Geek Squad PC Tech from September 2003 to December 2011, at Hilldrup Companies as an Application Developer/Administrator from April 2004 to September 2006, at Circuit City Corporate as a Technical Analyst/Programmer from May 2001 to August 2003, and in the United States Marine Corps as a Small Computer Systems Specialist from August 1992 to August 1997.

King Chau earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business in 2000. King went on to obtain a Master's degree in Decision Information Sciences from the same university in 2001. In 2009, King pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Throughout their education, they also obtained certifications such as Certified SAFe Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and IBM Certified Application Developer.
