Steve Valenzuela

Steve Valenzuela is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Alarm.com. Steve has previously held the position of Board Advisor at Avi Networks, which was acquired by VMWare in July 2019. Prior to that, Steve was the Chief Financial Officer at SugarCRM from January 2015 to November 2016. At SugarCRM, they were responsible for leading the finance, accounting, human resources, legal, IT, and order operations teams. Steve's experience also includes a role as the Vice President of Finance and Operations for the Mobile Platforms Group of Citrix/CFO of Zenprise. In this role, they were responsible for leading the finance and operations team for the Mobile Platforms Group of Citrix as a result of Citrix's acquisition of Zenprise in January 2013. Steve was also responsible for working on the integration of Zenprise into Citrix, product offerings, pricing, and channel distribution strategy. During their time as Chief Financial Officer of Zenprise, Steve raised $30 million in equity capital with new lead investor, Greylock Partners. Steve also achieved over 200% growth in sales and developed financial models and implemented key business metrics.

Steve Valenzuela has a MBA in Finance from Santa Clara University and a BS in Accounting from San Jose State University.
