Loïc Hamet

Loïc Hamet has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Loïc currently works as a Software Engineer at Alasco starting in 2023. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2022, they were a Software Engineer at Red Bull Media House, where they served as the Lead Engineer for the Design System team, implementing new library components and providing technical insights for the product roadmap. From 2018 to 2021, Loïc worked at Blinkist as a Senior Web Engineer, specializing in front-end development and ensuring high-quality features with the best user experience. During this time, they developed and maintained a web design system and initiated the setup of a new stack for progressive migration. Before joining Blinkist, Loïc worked as a freelance Frontend Developer from 2016 to 2020, collaborating with various companies such as deValence, Lamy, Blinkist, and Lilian vanTrap. Prior to that, they served as a Frontend Developer at CDLX from 2014 to 2016, building websites for prestigious clients. From 2010 to 2014, they engaged in subcontracting as a Frontend Developer and JavaScript consultant for major design agencies, such as Marcel, deValence, and Pixelis. Loïc's career began in 2009 as a Junior Web Developer at EWA, where they were involved in backoffice development and e-commerce. In 2008, they worked as a Graphic Designer and Flash developer on a freelance basis. Additionally, they gained internship experience as a Graphic Designer at Long Island in 2007.

Loïc Hamet's education history begins with their attendance at Lycée du Granier from 1996 to 1999. Loïc completed their Baccalauréat with a focus on scientific studies during this time. Following this, they enrolled at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 2000 to 2002, where they pursued a DUT degree in Telecommunications and Networks. Later, from 2002 to 2007, Loïc Hamet attended Supcrea and obtained a degree in Graphic Design.
