Design Informatics Manager at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium

Kevin Tuning has over 20 years of work experience in the field of CAD and design. Kevin started their career at Ruen-Yeager & Associates, Inc./HEDCO in 1994 as a Design Technician/Software and Hardware Manager. There, they produced professional drawings and plan sets, assisted in design and development, and worked with survey crews for construction staking. In 2000, they joined CE2 Engineers Inc as an Engineering Technician, where they continued to produce drawings and plan sets and assist in design and CAD standards development. In 2001, they joined Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium as an Engineering Technician III, responsible for the production of professional drawings, assisting in design and CAD standards maintenance. Kevin then worked their way up to become the CAD System Supervisor/Administrator, providing software tutoring and technical support, managing CAD software network and installation. Finally, they served as the Design Informatics Manager at the same company, responsible for daily business activities, managing staff and HR matters, and overseeing the execution of CAD projects.

Kevin Tuning attended Lewis-Clark State College from 1992 to 1994, earning an Associates of Applied Science degree in Drafting. Kevin specialized in CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician during their time at the college. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Kamiah High School from 1988 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Kevin Tuning obtained the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2017.
