Sebi Francis

Sebi Francis has extensive work experience in the field of operations and procurement in the agrochemical industry. Sebi is currently serving as the Head of India Operations at Albaugh, LLC. Prior to this, they worked at Indofil Industries Limited as the General Manager - Institutional Business & Strategic Purchase, where they were responsible for procurement operations, supplier management, and in-licensing and out-licensing. Before that, Sebi held the position of Vice President - Operations at Coromandel Agrico Pvt. Ltd., overseeing various aspects of the company's operations. Sebi also worked at Isagro S.p.A. as the Controller - Purchase & Supply Chain and at Atul Limited as the Purchase Manager - Agrochemicals Division. Sebi started their career at Tata Chemicals as an Engineer and later worked at American Cyanamid Co. and Gujarat Carbon Limited (Philips Carbon Black) in different roles. Overall, Sebi Francis has demonstrated expertise in operations, procurement, and strategic management in the agrochemical industry.

Sebi Francis has a strong educational background in materials management and mechanical engineering. Sebi obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Thrissur, from 1985 to 1989. Later, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management at the Indian Institute of Materials Management in Mumbai, from 2000 to 2003. In 2007 to 2008, they furthered their education by completing an MBA focused on Materials from MP BHOJ University.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Sebi Francis has obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma. Sebi achieved a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Benchmark Six Sigma in March 2018. Sebi also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from the same institution in the same month and year.
