Sean Christiansen

Sean Christiansen has a strong background in business development and commercialization efforts in various industries. Sean is currently the Senior Director of New Business Development at Albemarle Corporation, where they lead the evaluation of novel technologies and develops business cases for new products. Prior to that, they were the Cofounder and Director of Business Development at Garmor, where they successfully built partnerships in over 22 countries. Sean has also worked at the University of Central Florida and L3 Technologies, where they directed commercialization efforts and led the discovery and commercialization of new technologies. Sean has a background in engineering and has worked at Teledyne Energy Systems and Hydrogen Burner Technology, where they developed fuel cell systems and hydrogen generators.

Sean Christiansen completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College from 2016 to 2017. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara from 1996 to 2001. Sean also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996.
