Jeff Mueller has a strong background in the chemical industry, with experience in various leadership and project management roles. Jeff started their career at Harrison Western as a Process Development Engineer, where they generated new product revenues through the development of patented separation processes. Jeff then moved on to Henkel, where they served as an Engineering Manager and later as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing strategic projects and the construction and startup of chemical manufacturing facilities. After that, they joined Sulzer as a Senior Business Development and Project Manager, handling business development, project management, and process design for modular specialty chemicals plants. Most recently, Jeff has worked at Albemarle Corporation, where they held multiple positions including Senior Lithium Project Manager, Senior Lithium Process Technology Manager, Senior Lithium Business Development Manager, Global Business Director, Lithium CoProducts, and Senior Director, Lithium External Affairs. In these roles, they led teams, managed operations, and implemented sustainability and community affairs initiatives, among other responsibilities.
Jeff Mueller has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University, which they obtained from 1988 to 1993. Jeff also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they earned from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2010, Six Sigma Green Belt from Ablestik Laboratories in 2005, and Professional Engineer from North Carolina in 1999.
