Annette Hobart

Annette Hobart is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community and Aboriginal relations, particularly in consultation with First Nations and Metis groups. Currently serving as a Regional Engagement Specialist at the Alberta Energy Regulator since September 2017, Annette previously held key roles including Consultation Manager at Cold Lake First Nations, Owner/Operator of Dragonfly Resources, and Senior Community and Aboriginal Relations Advisor at the Energy Resources Conservation Board. Annette's background also includes significant contributions as a Field Director at CAREERS: The Next Generation and as a Business Development Advisor at Apeetogosan (Metis) Development Inc. Annette holds multiple certifications in dispute resolution and negotiation, as well as a degree in Chemical Technology from NAIT.
