Meryl Whittaker has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Meryl is currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Claystone Waste Ltd. Since 2020, they have also been a Corporate Director at the Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS). In addition, they hold the position of Chair of the Firefighters' Supplementary Pension Plan at the City of Edmonton. Previously, they worked as the Integrity Commissioner at the City of Calgary from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they had a significant tenure with the Government of Alberta, where they served as Deputy Minister, Assistant Deputy Minister, and Chair of the Municipal Government Board between 2015 and 2019. Before their government service, they were the President & CEO at the Alberta Local Authorities Pension Plan Corp. from 2009 to 2014.
