Meryl Whittaker

Meryl Whittaker, LLB, MBA, ICD.D, is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in governance and public service. Currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors at Claystone Waste Ltd. and as a Corporate Director at Alberta Pensions Services Corporation, Meryl also holds the position of Chair for the Firefighters’ Supplementary Pension Plan in the City of Edmonton. Previous roles include Integrity Commissioner for the City of Calgary and Deputy Minister for the Government of Alberta. Meryl's career also includes serving as President & CEO of the Alberta Local Authorities Pension Plan Corp. Meryl holds an MBA and an LLB from the University of Alberta, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Distinction.
