Darren E Mason

Darren E Mason is a distinguished Professor of Mathematics at Albion College, where responsibilities include teaching a range of mathematics, statistics, and engineering courses, as well as directing the dual degree program in actuarial science. Prior academic roles include various positions at Michigan State University, where experience encompasses teaching actuarial science and financial derivatives. Additionally, Mason has served as an Adjunct Assistant/Associate Professor of Civil Engineering, conducting research on poly-crystalline materials, and has held visiting professorships at the University of Minnesota and Michigan State University. Mason's academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics followed by a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics, both from the University of Minnesota. Mason also served as a Corporal in the Army National Guard.
