Jilian Chieng

Jilian joined Alcentra in May 2019 as a member of the European Credit team. She is responsible for providing legal support to the broader investment team, advising on transaction structuring and execution of new and existing deals. Jilian has a particular focus on European direct lending and leveraged finance.

Prior to joining Alcentra, Jilian was a Managing Associate in the London Leveraged Finance team of top-tier UK law firm Linklaters LLP where she worked since 2009. During that time, Jilian spent eight months seconded to Alcentra and seven months seconded to JP Morgan.

Jilian has an LLB in Law from the London School of Economics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. She also continues to hold her practising certificate as an England and Wales qualified solicitor/attorney.
