Laura Mitchell

Laura Mitchell has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics and antibody discovery. Laura currently holds the position of Principal Bioinformatician at Alchemab Therapeutics Ltd since January 2023. Previously, they worked as a Senior Bioinformatician at Alchemab Therapeutics Ltd from March 2021 to January 2023. Before that, they served as a Bioinformatician at Kymab Ltd from October 2018 to March 2021, focusing on immune repertoire analysis and the development of in silico tools for therapeutic antibody discovery. Laura also conducted a PhD at the University of Cambridge from June 2015 to September 2018, and a final year research project at University College London from October 2013 to June 2014. Additionally, they gained industrial experience as an Analytical Biochemistry placement student at MedImmune from July 2012 to August 2013.

Laura Mitchell graduated from UCL in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry. Laura subsequently pursued a PhD at the University of Cambridge.
