Nicki Symonds

Nicki Symonds is an experienced recruitment professional currently serving as the Interim Head of Talent at Alchemist Consulting Ltd since May 2024. Previously, Nicki held the position of Talent Acquisition Manager at The Rank Group plc from May 2018 to April 2024, leading a team responsible for hiring for Grosvenor Casino and Mecca Bingo, which collectively employed around 5,000 individuals. Additional roles include Retail Recruitment Project Manager and Recruitment Business Partner within The Rank Group. Nicki's career began at SSAB as a Sales Support Coordinator, followed by positions at Euro London Appointments, where expertise was developed in setting up an Internal Recruitment function for LEGO, and at Morgan McKinley managing an RPO function for Dun & Bradstreet. From June 2015 to May 2018, Nicki served as Recruitment Manager for Toys R Us UK/EMEA, creating tailored recruitment strategies for various roles. Nicki holds a degree in German and Linguistics, International Business from Swansea University.
