Brent Checketts

Brent Checketts has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brent is currently the Head of Platform Engineering at Alcion since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Overstock.com as the Vice President of Software Engineering from July 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior VP of Technology and VP of Engineering at Solutionreach, Inc. from September 2019 to July 2020 and May 2017 to September 2019, respectively. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Dell EMC as the Senior Director and Director of Engineering. Prior to that, they were the Director of Program Management at VMware from June 2008 to December 2012. Brent also has previous experience at iBAHN, Capital One, Ford Motor Company, Nextpage, and IBM in various technical and leadership roles.
