Fernanda Fantini

Vice President Vision Care Latin America at Alcon

Fernanda Fantini has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Fernanda began their career in 1996 as an HR Trainee at Novartis, followed by a Finance Trainee position at Unilever in 1997. In 1998, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at CIBA Vision in the Surgical and Pharmaceutical Business. Fernanda then joined Avery Zweckform in 2000 as a Product Management Intern before returning to CIBA Vision in 2001. At CIBA Vision, Fernanda held several positions including Key Account/Product Manager, Project Manager, and Group Brand Manager. In 2009, they became a Senior Brand Manager, and from 2011 to 2012, they served as the Global Marketing Director for AIR OPTIX at CIBA Vision. In 2012, Fernanda joined Alcon as the Global Franchise Director for Weekly/Monthly Contact Lenses, and later as the Global Franchise Director for Weekly/Monthly Lens and Lens Care Products. From 2015 to 2019, they were the Head of Vision Care Franchise for Latin America at Alcon. In 2020, Fernanda held the position of International Head of Contact Lenses at Alcon before being promoted to Vice President of Vision Care for Latin America.

Fernanda Fantini completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado from 1994 to 1998. Fernanda also pursued a Marketingwirt degree in Marketing at the Bavarian Academy for Advertising and Marketing, BAW Academy from 2000 to 2001.
