Hakan Erdemir

Hakan Erdemir has extensive work experience in supply chain and operations management. Hakan is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Alcon. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, including Vice President of Medical Devices Supply Chain North America, Vice President of Strategy and Development in the Medical Devices Supply Chain, Vice President of Supply Chain Planning and PMO in Consumer EMEA, and Vice President of Operations NA OTC. Hakan also has experience in supply chain planning and management at Roscom Inc. and Turkish Air Force. Hakan started their career as a Quality Engineer at Johnson & Johnson and previously worked as a Quality Manager at Roscom Inc. Hakan also served as a Sergeant in the Turkish Air Force and worked as a Plant Manager at Selcuk Inc.

Hakan Erdemir earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Metallurgical Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 1990. Hakan went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Materials Engineering from the same university between 1990 and 1993. From 1994 to 2005, they pursued their education further and completed a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial Engineering at Alfred University.
