Rohit Kolora, PhD, is a seasoned bioinformatics scientist currently working at Alector since August 2022. Prior to this role, Rohit served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from January 2019 to July 2022 and was a project assistant at the Center for DNA Fingerprinting & Diagnostics in 2012. Rohit holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Informatics from Leipzig University (2013-2018), a master's degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Hyderabad (2010-2012), and a bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (2006-2010). Additionally, Rohit has completed a postgraduate degree in Computational Biology at the University of California, Berkeley.
