Derek Holmes

Derek Holmes is the current Chief Information Officer at Alegeus. Derek has also previously served as Sr. Director of Development at MBI Benefits, Project Director/Research Associate at the Criminal Justice Institute, and Sr. Project Manager at Phase Forward.

Derek has over 20 years of experience in the field of information technology. Derek began their career as a programmer analyst at Edify Corporation in 1998. Derek then moved on to MBI Benefits in 2001, where they served as Sr. Director of Development for five years. In 2006, Derek became Sr. Project Manager at Phase Forward, and in 2007 they took on the role of CIO at Alegeus Technologies.

Derek is a highly skilled and experienced IT professional. Derek has a proven track record of success in leading and managing IT projects and teams. Derek is an expert in software development, QA, release engineering, and technical publications. Derek is also well-versed in customer interaction solutions and has extensive experience working with web, voice, wireless, and e-mail communications.

Derek Holmes has a MBA from Boston University and a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
