Balpreet Singh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Balpreet currently works as the Head of IT & Business Process Excellence at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited. Prior to this, they were the Head of IT Applications at Adani Wilmar Limited. Balpreet has a long tenure at Reliance Industries Limited, where they held various positions such as Asst. Vice President of Digital Transformation Initiatives, Asst. Vice President of Enterprise Applications, Lead of SCM Platform Initiatives, IT Lead of Digital Transformation, and Track Lead of STAR Business Transformation. Balpreet also completed the Reliance Accelerated Leadership Program during their time there. Balpreet started their career as a Consultant in SCM at SAP GD and later worked as an SCM Consultant at First Solar. Balpreet also served as a Project Lead/Project Manager and Consultant in SCM at Bristlecone, where they played a crucial role in winning multiple deals. Balpreet's early career includes roles as a Founding Partner at Career Compass and a Project Engineer at BOC India Ltd. Overall, they have gained extensive experience in IT, digital transformation, SCM, and project management across various industries.

Balpreet Singh has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 2001, they attended the National Institute of Technology Rourkela and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a major in Operations Management and Finance, and a minor in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. In 2011 to 2012, they completed the Advanced Leadership Development program at Harvard Business Publishing. Additionally, Balpreet has obtained various certifications, including emotional intelligence, coaching practices, leadership, agile, software architecture, and problem-solving, among others. Balpreet also holds certifications in SAP Solution Manager and SAP SCM from SAP AG, obtained in 2008.
