Operations Engineer at Alén Space

Noelia Fariñas Álvarez has a range of work experience in the aerospace industry. Noelia'smost recent position was as an Operations Engineer at Alén Space, starting in May 2022. Noelia Fariñas Álvarez began their education in 2013 at the Universidad de León, where they pursued a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Noelia'sfield of study included aerospace engineering, aeronautics, and astronautics, as well as space engineering. Noelia completed their degree in 2017.

In 2017, Noelia furthered their education by attending the University of Leicester, where they obtained a Master of Science degree. Noelia'sfocus of study during this time was on space exploration systems. Noelia completed their master's degree in 2018.

Noelia is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the Universidade de Vigo. Noelia'sresearch specialization is in space engineering, specifically in the field of magnetic characterization systems for small satellites.
