Joanna Zeng

Joanna Zeng has a diverse work experience in the blockchain and finance industries. Joanna is currently serving as the VP and Head of BD at Aleo, a blockchain company focusing on privacy and scalability. Prior to this, they were a Strategic Advisor at AlwaysGeeky Games, a Montreal-based game studio that specializes in Web3 blockchain gaming. Joanna also worked as an Advisor and LP at Right Click Save Ventures, a Web3 Ventures Studio. Joanna has been actively involved in the blockchain community as a Board Member at Crypto NYC, an incubator for blockchain technology ventures in New York City. Joanna also worked as the BD Lead for NFT and Gaming at OP Labs, where they played a crucial role in expanding the use case of NFTs.

Joanna has also gained valuable experience at well-known companies in the industry, including Coinbase, where they held the position of Sr. Manager of NFT Partner Success and Senior Account Manager for Institutional Clients. Additionally, they worked as a BD and Sales Consultant at Chainlink Labs.

Before transitioning to the blockchain industry, Joanna worked at BNP Paribas and Citi, where they held various positions in corporate derivatives sales and FX prime brokerage. Joanna also co-founded Bilingual Kids & Co, an education-focused company.

Throughout their career, Joanna has demonstrated their expertise in blockchain technology, NFTs, and digital assets. Joanna has actively contributed to the growth of the blockchain community through their involvement in various organizations and events.

Joanna Zeng completed their Master's degree in Business Administration and International Affairs at Columbia Business School from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Economics and minoring in Statistics, from Carnegie Mellon University between 2005 and 2008. Joanna also has additional certifications in SQL for Data Science from Coursera, Securities and Futures Commission Dealing License from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), and Series 63 and Series 7 licenses from FINRA.
