Bill Carlson

As a lead business advisor, Bill’s responsibilities include leading the Southern Valley business advisor team as well as serving his own clients. Bill prides himself on his diverse product knowledge, which enables him to speak to each and every financial service offered by Alerus. This broad knowledge helps him find solutions to financial needs and deliver them through their team of product specialists. Some of the primary areas Bill handles are commercial lending, cash management, wealth management, retirement plan services, personal banking, and financial planning. Bill strives to build long-term relationships with clients, founded upon the client’s best interests.

Bill has been with Alerus since 1988 and has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He has been a registered Certified Financial Planner™ professional since 2000 and received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Montana in 1986.
