Nisal Fernando

Nisal Fernando has over ten years of work experience in the software engineering field. Nisal currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Alex Solutions, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, Nisal worked at Chakray Consulting as a Technical Lead from October 2019 to June 2021. During their time at Chakray Consulting, they were responsible for hiring and mentoring junior engineers, as well as estimating project requirements and planning milestones. Before that, Nisal worked at Mitra Innovation as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2018 to October 2019, where they worked on a project for Travis Perkins, a British builders' merchant. Nisal'scareer started at Jetwing Travels, where they worked in the IT department's development team as a Software Engineer and later as a Software Developer for a total of five years. Nisal also worked as a System Support Executive at Jetwing Travels from January 2011 to April 2012.

Nisal Fernando began their education journey in 1995, attending St. Peter's College in Colombo 04. However, no specific degree or field of study was provided for this period. From 2009 to 2010, Nisal attended the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka, where they obtained a National Diploma in Information & Communication Technology, specializing in Computer Science.
