Mbhd Nina Marsh

Nina Marsh, MA MBA PhD, has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Currently, they are the Head of Internal Audit, HR Controlling & Sustainability Management at Alexander von Humboldt Foundation since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Internal Audit & Sustainability Management at the same organization from February 2016 to November 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Quality Assurance Manager (part-time) at Alexander von Humboldt Foundation from February 2015 to February 2016.

Nina has also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg since September 2019. Before that, they were a Research Fellow at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management since June 2012, specializing in Corporate Social Responsibility.

Furthermore, they gained experience as an Editorial Assistant at Springer Nature from February 2018 to May 2019. Nina was a Guest Researcher at DZNE - German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases from March 2016 to March 2017.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at Stadtverwaltung Köln from November 2009 to December 2014. Nina also served as a Research Assistant at Radboud University Nijmegen from January 2013 to September 2013.

Their professional journey began as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks from April 2007 to November 2008.

Nina Marsh, MA MBA PhD, has a diverse education history spanning various fields of study. Nina obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Performing Arts from the University of Music and Dance Cologne (HfMT) in 2004. In 2011, they pursued further education in Business Administration and Management, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management.

In 2012, Nina Marsh attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a program in Business Administration and Management. Nina also interned at Caltech in 2013, focusing on Neurobiology and Behavior.

Continuing their academic journey, in 2014, Nina Marsh enrolled in the PhD School at Radboud University, concentrating on Management Science. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2017, they attended The University of Bonn and received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medical Psychology.

Additionally, Nina Marsh has obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. This includes a certification in Zusätzliche Prüfverfahrenskompetenz für § 8a BSIG from DIIR - Deutsches Institut für Interne Revision e.V. in 2023.
