Emma Barkham

Designer, Structured Wovens, RTW at Alexander Wang, Inc.

Emma Barkham has a strong background in fashion design, with experience in various roles and companies. Emma currently works as a Designer of Structured Wovens and RTW at Alexander Wang LLC since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Womenswear Designer at David Koma London from August 2020 to November 2022, and as a Junior Designer from June 2019 to August 2020. Emma also worked as a Womenswear Designer and a Design Assistant at APHID London from February 2017 to February 2019 and from June 2015 to January 2017, respectively. Emma has experience as an Art Director/Production Designer for the F Word Project from November 2015 to April 2016. Emma also worked as a Production and Sampling Assistant at Roksanda Ilincic in 2014, as well as a Design Assistant at YMC in 2012. Emma started their career as an Assistant Designer (Womens Active) through an internship at Old Navy in 2011, and as a Studio Assistant at Natascha Stolle in 2010. Throughout their career, Emma has demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute to concept design, research, and garment production.

Emma Barkham completed their education in the field of fashion and design. Emma holds a Master's Degree in Womenswear from the University of the Arts London, specifically from Central Saint Martin's. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Fashion Design from Kingston University, where they majored in Fashion/Apparel Design. Emma also took a short course in Pattern Cutting at Central St Martins in 2010. Additionally, they completed a Foundation Degree in Art & Design from Oxford Brookes University in 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Emma Barkham obtained a certificate in "An Introduction to Marketing" from Coursera in December 2014.
