Bryan Bourne

Principal Trombone at Alexandria Symphony Orchestra

Bryan Bourne is an accomplished trombonist with extensive experience in various musical ensembles and educational institutions. Serving as Principal Trombone for the Washington Concert Opera and the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, Bourne has also held the position of Principal Trombone and Personnel Manager for the Chesapeake Orchestra. Additional roles include trombonist for Dominion Brass and tenor and alto trombonist for Washington Symphonic Brass. As Low Brass Faculty at St. Mary's College of Maryland, Bourne instructs students in trombone, euphonium, and tuba while conducting the Brass Ensemble. Bryan Bourne's previous experience includes serving as Principal Trombone for the US Marine Band, where responsibilities included solo performances with the White House Orchestra and nationwide concert tours. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Music Performance from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Indiana University Bloomington.
