Deepak Merani

Deepak Merani is a Regulatory and Quality Specialist at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., responsible for conducting gap analysis of submission packages for prescription medicines and developing submission strategies, along with managing GMP clearances and local release of batches. Prior to this role, Deepak served as a Commercial Quality Professional at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, leading the Product Quality Complaints department and engaging in process optimization projects. Deepak began as a Regulatory Affairs Associate and also worked as a Customer Service Representative at Johnson & Johnson, managing portfolios of prescription medicines and biologicals. Earlier experience includes a position as a Technical Officer at Medlab Pathology Australia. Deepak holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine from UNSW, a Bachelor's degree in Medical Science from Western Sydney University, and a Diploma in Science and Engineering from UTS College.
