Simon Stafrace

Simon Stafrace currently serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Quality & Risk board sub-committee at Mental Health First Aid International since April 2024, and as a Non-Executive Director at Mental Health Victoria since 2023, having previously served from 2018 to 2020. Simon holds the position of Program Director at Alfred Mental & Addiction Health and has been affiliated with Monash University as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor and Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer since 2006. Previous roles include Chief Adviser for the Mental Health & Wellbeing Division and Mental Health Reform in the Victorian Government from 2020 to January 2022, as well as extensive experience at Alfred Health from 2000 to 2020 in various leadership roles. Simon's early career featured a private psychiatric practice and notable positions including Psychogeriatrician at St Vincent's Hospital. Educational qualifications encompass a diverse range of degrees, including a Master's in Health Administration and a Fellowship in Psychiatry, among others.
