Melanie Spanswick

Melanie Spanswick is a seasoned composer and author with extensive experience in music education and performance. Currently serving as a Composer & Author at Schott Music GmbH & Co. KG since April 2017, Melanie specializes in tonal and Minimalist music for various piano formats and chamber ensembles. As an author, Melanie has published multiple educational works, including "Play it again: PIANO" and the two-book series "First Repertoire For Little Pianists." Additionally, Melanie holds a position as a Piano Professor at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and has contributed to various publications as a freelance writer. Melanie is also an adjudicator for music festivals and enjoys performing as a pianist and piano accompanist. Melanie's educational background includes an MMus in Performance Studies from the Royal College of Music.
