Christian Buechler

Christian Buechler currently serves as the Business Development Director for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at Algebris Investments, starting in November 2023. Previously, Christian held various positions at GAM Investments from January 2017 to November 2023, including Client Director for the Swiss Wholesale market and Client Relationship Manager for multiple regions. Experience also includes roles in client relations at Societe Generale Securities Services and project work at VISCHER. Earlier career positions involved portfolio management at VZ VermögensZentrum and Privatbank IHAG Zürich, as well as military service in the Swiss Armed Forces. Christian completed studies at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW from 2011 to 2015.
