Alessandro Monterosso

Alessandro Monterosso has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alessandro is currently working as the Director of Digital Health Solutions at Alira Health. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Algo AI. In 2018, Alessandro founded PatchAi, an AI-powered virtual assistant for clinical research, and led the company from inception to exit in just three years, receiving numerous international awards. Alessandro also has experience as an Alumnus at Plug and Play Tech Center and EIT Health InnoStars, where they worked on promoting innovation in the health sector. Alessandro has also worked as a Book Author and Translator at Zanichelli editore S.p.A. In 2018, they were selected for Ferring Pharmaceuticals' International Graduate Program, where they gained experience in marketing, sales, supply chain, and R&D across different locations. Alessandro holds a Master's degree in International Healthcare Management, Economics, and Policy from SDA Bocconi and was the Head of Events for the SDA Bocconi Healthcare Club. Previously, they worked as a Research Nurse and Training Specialist at the University of Padova, overseeing clinical trials and managing protocol changes in pediatric oncology. Overall, Alessandro has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation in healthcare and has gained valuable experience in various aspects of the industry.

Alessandro Monterosso has a diverse education history. Alessandro began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Pediatric Nursing from Università degli Studi di Padova from 2011 to 2014. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Applied Research Methodology in Nursing Care at Università degli Studi di Trieste from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Alessandro enrolled in SDA Bocconi to pursue a Master's in International Healthcare Management, Economics, and Policy. Alessandro successfully completed this degree in 2019.

Most recently, Alessandro decided to further expand their knowledge and skills by pursuing a degree in Leadership & Innovation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they are currently pursuing since 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Alessandro has also attained several certifications and attended various training programs. Alessandro has certifications in Clinical Research Training from the National Institutes of Health, Pediatric Bone Marrow Aspirate, Biopsy, and Lumbar Puncture from ECCO - the European CanCer Organisation, Developing Nurse Scientist from the National Institute of Nursing Research, and Adverse Experience Reporting, Certificate of Completion in Good Clinical Practice from Merck, among others.
