Yasmin Ramadan

Yasmin Ramadan has extensive work experience in the fields of content creation, communications, and media relations.

Yasmin started their career at dotmsr as the Head of the Women Section, where they successfully launched campaigns to raise awareness about sexual harassment and underage marriage in Egypt. Yasmin published numerous stories on these issues, stimulating discussions on social media.

Yasmin then worked as an Assignment Editor at tahrirnews, managing the production of articles and news features. Yasmin also commissioned renowned writers and provided critical evaluations for over 1000 feature stories and columns.

Yasmin joined Multiple NGO's as a Communications Consultant, editing media statements and presentations and overseeing media campaigns to raise the company's profile before IPO.

Yasmin then held the role of Content and Communications Manager at MBC GROUP, where they led and managed the production of an Arabic TV show and ensured high-quality content and adherence to editorial standards.

Yasmin also served as an Editor in Charge at Itfarrag Digital Platform, where they hired and supervised a large editorial team and oversaw the production of news and features. Yasmin played a crucial role in improving the platform's content, increasing its website traffic, and effectively managing the budget.

At CBC Egypt, Yasmin was a Content and Outreach Manager, responsible for successfully launching and producing multiple TV programs. Yasmin managed a diverse team and utilized social media channels and editorial content to promote and protect the organization's reputation.

Yasmin then joined Media Hub Agency as a Senior PR and Communications Manager, where they managed a team, reduced publishing costs, and designed a rebranding campaign for the African World Youth Forum.

Yasmin worked at The Levantine Foundation as a Communications & Media Relations Manager, building and developing a team of communications professionals. Yasmin spearheaded the communication and public relations strategy, improving the foundation's brand image and online presence.

Yasmin's most recent role was as a Senior Producer, UK at East London news, where they executed various presenting and production duties and led a cross-cultural team to produce a weekly live news program.

In their career, Yasmin has demonstrated strong team management skills, a deep understanding of media and entertainment landscapes, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Yasmin Ramadan has a diverse education history, starting with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from Akhbar Elyoum Academy, which they completed from 2004 to 2007. Yasmin then pursued a Master of Arts degree in TV Journalism and Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London, but the start and end years for this degree are not provided.

Following that, Yasmin enrolled in another Master's program at The American University in Cairo, specializing in Media and Public Policy. Yasmin began this program in 2019 and is expected to graduate in 2023.
